Recognition of Studies

Seminar Schloss Bogenhofen is an educational institution of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Starting in 1949 Bogenhofen has continuously been a training center for theology that is internationally recognized as a Senior College.
The Senior College of Bogenhofen is regularly visited and evaluated by an International Accreditation Commission of the Adventist Accrediting Association (AAA). Thereby the quality of research and teaching is ensured. This commission has last visited the campus of Bogenhofen in 2008 and has once again confirmed the accreditation status as a Senior College for the next four years.
The complete duration of studies amounts to 12 trimesters, that is four years. After the successful completion of studies the degree of Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) is awarded. The Theology Program of Bogenhofen is not accredited by the government of Austria.
The Bachelor degree acquired at Bogenhofen is required for the employment as a pastor.
