Bachelor of Theology
The four year program of theology leads to the degree Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.). The successful completion as well as a recommendation of the Theology Faculty are the major prerequisites in order to be able to work as a pastor of the Adventist Church in Austria or in German-speaking Switzerland. However, the decision of employment still lies with the decision-making body of the Union or Conference. To be employed by the SDA church in Germany it is necessary to continue studies towards a Master's degree (for more detailed information see Graduate Studies).
