The curriculum of the Senior College of Bogenhofen includes the following elements:
Compulsory Courses

A more detailed description of the courses can be downloaded here. The abbreviations on the upper left are the internationally used terms for the respective courses, the abbreviations after the name of the course are the internal terms to be found in the curriculum. The three numerals on the upper right indicate the position of the course in the year of study and trimester as well as the amount of credits for the course.
Internships
The training, described in the more detailed curriculum, is supplemented by internships in various areas of church life. They enable the student to put learned skills into practice and receive insight into the future work of a pastor.
The internships are part of the study program. Therefore, no diploma can be attained without the successful completion of the various internships.
Compulsory Activities:
Preaching, Sabbath School, Bible studies, Youth meetings, working with kids (church service for kids, Sabbath School, religious instruction, pathfinders, camps), Stop-Smoking clinics, Health seminars Evangelism, Preaching. In addition, every student has to complete 350 hours of literature evangelism within the four years of studies.
Optional Activities:
various projects, social welfare work, conducting, choir.
Comprehensive Examination
The comprehensive examination consists of 2 exams in the following fields which are tested in an integrative and interdisciplinary way:
- Biblical Theology
- Practical Theology
The student's preparation for the exam is based on the already completed years of study. For more information see Duration of Study.
